{T}he humble petition of Nicholas {Ar}dagh prisoner in his Maiesties {Ca}stle of Dublin
To the right honorable the Lords Justice and Councell:
<T> Shewing That by direccions from your honors your petitioner standeth Committed to the Constable of his Maiesties said Castle in not acquainting your right honorable the Earle of Ormond and Osserie with words spoken by Mathew Tyling concerning his honor before any other. But soe it is may it please your honors. that your petitioner not having convenient of accest vnto his Lordship [ ] ing meeting with one Captain Bagnall acquainted him therewith, not expecting to have committed any offence thereby.
Humbly prayeth your honors to accept of your petitioner present punishment, for satisfaccion He intending never to Committ the Like againe. and to be pleased to give direccions for his Enlargement.
And he shall pray &c.
