This interactive timeline displays the contents of the 1641 Depositions corpus by date. It provides an excellent perspective on the way in which depositions were taken at different times during the 1640s and 50s. You can move the timeline by dragging or scrolling. The upper timeline provides a detailed view of events, and the lower timeline allows you to move through time more rapidly. Clicking on individual items will pop up more information about that item, and provide a link that will allow you to view its contents.
NOTE: Due to the large amount of data contained in the timeline, and to certain limitations of the SIMILE Timeline widget, this timeline can take some time to load. If you are using Internet Explorer, the timeline may not display properly. Chrome, Firebird or Safari deal more robustly with this display.
