Susan Barloe wife of John Barloe of St Johnstowne in the parrish of Clonbrony in the Barrony of Granard within the Countie of Longford Carpenter sworne and examined in the absence of hir husband saith, That on the 27th of October Last hir said husband and hir selfe, were at St Johns Towne afore said robbed stripped and dispoiled of goods of the values hereafter expressed vizt of Cattle worth thirteene pounds fifteene shillings & eight pence household goods worth eight pounds Joyners war{e} ready made vp tymber and workeing tooles worth eight pounds and fowreteene shillings, hay winter fuell and one garden of roots worth foure pounds In debts fifty Nyne shillings, in new cloth worth thirtie six shillings six pence, other goods worth ffifty shillings, In all amounting to fortie one pound{s} fifteene shillings and two pence, By Bryan mc Shane of Arkill Teige mc Shane of Dromederg <A> Lysacgh mc Gerrald ô ffarrall of Dronebad in the county aforesaid, and diuers others their followers all of the Barrony of Grannard in the said cownty of Longford, they sayeing that they had a Commission from the King vnder his broad seale for what they di{d} and that Phillip ô Rely had it to shew and that if an{y} did resist them, they would kill them, by meanes of which outrage, both hir husband hirselfe and there fowre young children are in great want and mise{ry} hir said husband goeing along with Sir James Dil{lon?} to the Ladie Duttons, is stayed in the country euer since, shee haueing neuer heard, from him sinc{e} his departure whereby shee & hir children are in the greater missery
