The Examynacion of Coollow mcCabe of Deerrynawh in the Com of WestMeath yeoman, taken before vs the first of 9ber 1641
<F> Whoe saith that he Came to the Cittie of Dublin about Noone the 22th of 8ber ab Last, and the Occation of his Cominge was, to see if that he Coulde meete with, one Bryan mc Connell, one of the Kings footemen, And to speake with James Macabe one of the Atturneys of the Kings bench Concerninge a debte of <G> 3 li. which one John O Spellane, of parish preeist of KnockMart in the Com of Letrim did owe him this Examynant, but this Examynant further saith that the said Bryan, was parted the towne by another way before he came, And that the said James Macabe, was not in the towne, but that he promised him that he woulde be in the towne the 24th of 8ber Last, And that the said Macabe haueing procured <H> a writt formerlie for this Examynant the which writt was, miscarried, And the said Macabe promised him at the tyme aforesaid to renewe the said writte the which was the occation of his Cominge to Dublin as aforesaid And further saith that this [ ] Examynant and the said Bryan mc Connell are Maried, to twoe sisters, and the said Bryan doth Liue within 7 miles to the place where this Examinant Liueth
