The Examinacion of Connor mc Caffra taken before us Sir Richard Bolton knight Lord Chanc of Ireland and Sir Gerrard Lowther knight Lord Chief Justice of his Maiesties Court of Common Pleas &c the 6th day of November 1641
<F> This Examinant saith that he was borne at Boghell in the County of Fermannagh and at liued with his fosterers untill he was a souldier in the last expedicion in the North of Ireland under and was a muskettier under the command of Coronell Titchborne & when they were disbanded there he came backe into the County of ffermanagh unto his fosterers & hearing it reported in the Country that those that would come to Dublin should be entertained in sirvice to goe beyond the seas as [ ] Souldiers he came towards Dublin to be entertained as a Souldier & had noe companie comming with him in the way & saith that he came to Dublin on ffriday last was fortnight And went up and downe the Towne untill he was apprehended which was the next day beeing this day fortnight in the morning
