The Examinacion of Daniell Curren one of the Company of the sayd ship taken the same day
<W> Hee being duly sworne on the holy Evangelist, and examin{ed} sayeth that when hee and his Brother Cornelius discouere{d} the ship called the Mary of Bristoll, within the River o{f} Waterford, riding at the Harbors mouth, his brother Corneliu{s} and himselfe did intreat the Master of the Barkque, to beare to her, and perceived the Company of the sayd ship [wheas?] them to drawe neere, and that then this examinantes brothe{r} told the Master that she was a ffort in that place, and ought be obeyed, and the Master rebuked them with fowle wordes, as Calleing them Clownes and dogges, and would not stay, and when they stroa{ke} sayle, he caused them to be hoyled up againe, and so held on his Course, vntill the sayd ship forced him to an anchor, with discharging 7 peeces of ordnance at him
