The Examinacion of Daniell ô Hurragho taken before us Sir Richard Bolton knight Lord Chancellor of Ireland & Sir Ric Gerrard Lowther knight Lord Chief Justice of his Maiesties Court of Common Pleas this 9th of 9ber 1641.
<P> This Examinant saith that he is footboy unto Conly mc Goghegan of Donore in the County of Westmeath gent & that yesterday morning his Mai said Maister accompanied with Brian Goghegan Donnogh mc Goghegan & this Examinant tooke his iourney from Lacca in the County of Kildare & came to Dublin yesterday in the evening about fiue of the clocke & saith that the said Conly had a sword & a the said Brian had a pistoll & a sword donnogh mc Goghegan & a pistoll & a sword & this Examinant had a sword a dagger & a pistoll He further saith that they alighted at Tieg Connors howse in st Francis streete & there supped & that there was with them at supper dermott Cavenagh & his seruant Morrice Cavenagh Brian ô <Q> Hara & Donnogh Kego & one Bermingham & an other is said to be an Hostler whose name he knoweth not And he saith that after supper they beeing drinking a while they were apprehended by the Officers of the Citty all except Birmingham & the Hostler Hee further saith that hee knoweth not what busines his his Maister had to Dublin unlesse it were to come to the Terme.
