The Examinacion of William Savage of Castlestreete Baker taken before us Sir Richard Bolton knight Lord Chancellor of Irealand & Sir Gerrard Lowther knight Lord Cheef Justice of his Maiesties Court of Cheaf Pleas this 17th of 9ber 1641.
<K.> This Examinant saith beeing duly sworne & examined upon oath saith that about a Fortnight or threeweekes agoe the day he knoweth not that George Hackett & William Cox & others beeing drinketh together in his this this Examinants house in Castlestreete & this Examinant comming sometimes into their company but makeing noe stay hee heard the said Hackett that say that if he were made a Captaine or Lieutenant hee could doe good seruice in the Birnes Country because hee liued there for hee feared there would be warres there shortly And more he remembreth not to haue heard in that Company
