The Examinacion of Ellen Birne seruant unto Elizabeth Moore of Cookstreet Dublin Widdow taken before us Sir Richard Bolton Knight Lord Chancellor of Ireland & Sir Gerrard Lowther Knight Lord Chief Justice of his Maiesties Court of Chief Pleas this 9th day of 9ber 1641.
<V:> Who beeing duly sworne & examined upon her oath saith that upon All Saintsday last in the morning George Hackett beeing att Breakefast at the howse of Elizabeth Moore in Cookestreet Henry Whyte Cooke came in unto him whereupon the said Hackett said Welcome noble Harry I am come to Dublin to receiue my rents & if there be any Captaines made I hope I shalbee a Captaine then said White unto him I hope then I shall haue haue a place under you Hackett tould him that hee should then replyed the said White that hee would serue him at Midnight & spend his blood in the Kings seruice And other discourse then this this examinant heard not.
