The Examinacion of Owen Kelly Cooke taken before me Sir Richard Bolton Knight Lord Chancellors of Ireland this 22th of 9ber 1641.
<A> This Examinant saith That last night about eight of the clock hee came into the howse of Samuell English in Hamon lane But denyethe that hee did abuse or miscall any of the company there or called them Rogues or Rascalls and denyeth that hee said that hee hoped to see the confusion of then or any words to that effect And hee likewise denyeth that hee said that if hee hoped to see the heads of the greatest best Lords in Ireland cutt off witin a fortnight or [ ] that hee hoped that those to whom hee had belonged & to whom hee had putt off his cappe should come come cappe in hand to him & call <B> him Mr Kelly or words to that effect Hee denyeth likewise that hee euer said that if hee lost his life fiue hundred lives should goe for it or any words to that effect Hee confesseth that last night hee stole a knife at the howse of Hugh Corckran the Constable in Hamon lane
