The examination of Georg Bunfan of Dublin Glover taken the eleventh of December 1641. deliuered in upon oath taken before the clerk of the Councell
<A> Who saith that upon thursday wednesday night last Peter Fletcher master to this examinate wished tould this him that he had had some speeches with one Patrick Bee a Butcher about the common daunger the Protestants were in and desired th willed the examinate to see if he could get and said that the said Patrick had to advised him not to goe to church on Sunday next in the afternoone, for that something was then intended to be done. and that a word was to be given which whosoever had not could not escape should be saved.
<B> He saith also that the said Peter Fletcher advised the examinate to goe & talk with the said Bee and see whether or noe he could learne any thing out of him, whereupon the examinate went to the said Bee upon thursday last and tould him that he understood by his Master that a word was to be given, which whosoever had

<C> should be saved, and that he did earnestly desired the said Patrick to tell him the word. But the said Patrick <D> denyed to this examinate that ever he had tould any such thing to his Master s only he said that he had yet he advised him to carry a part the examinate to tell his Master that it would be a safe way for him to carry Beades either in his pocket or about his arme, and that soe doing it would be a means for his safety <E> He saith also that the said Patrick tould him that he had advised his master to send his goods either to william Eustace or to mr Burnell w with whom they would be safe whereupon the examinate s demaunded of him what he thought if his master should carry them to mr Burnell To which he answered that he thought they would be very safe there.
