The Examination of Richard Carricke Cutler taken by me the day aforesaid by vertue of the said order
<B> the said Examinant saith that he was present when Robert Worrell charged Mathew Tillinge with beinge with Christophe{r} Cruse of the Haule amongst the rebells & that therevpon the said Tillinge said that if he had any thinge to charge him with that he woulde goe with him before the right hon the Earle of Ormond to which Worrell replyed that

the Earle of ormond was not the man which the people tooke <C> him to be for that he kept a company of troupers who were all rebells And further said that he taxed better men then the said Tillinge with the like as the lorde cheefe Baron & his lady The Examinant further saithe that the said Tillinge did bringe this Examinant the next day after the speakinge of the said wordes before mr maior to witnes the speakinge of the said wordes of the Earle of ormond the lorde cheefe Baron & his ladie and that he did testifie before mr maior that the said Worrell had spoken the said wordes
