Margery Blackden of Castle Comer in the County of Kilkenny widow widow deposeth that she lost by the Rebells viij li. in Cowes and other thinges about the 25 of November 1641, & was thrice stripped naked & was carried to a tree to be hanged but it pleased god to restraine their handes soe as they did not putt her to death Jur 5 April 1642 coram Ran Adams et Johe Sterne:
