The Examination of Edmund Ashbould of Cloghran swordes taken before mee the xxxith of December 1641 By direction of the right Honnorable the Lords Justices & Councell
Who beeing sworne & Examined saith that Mr Luke Netterfeild & Mr Thomas Russell of delivered him a horse of Mr Barnwalls of Turvine & which this Examinant was to se nd serve vnder Collonell Netterfeild against his Maiesties Armie And that there was likewise delivered him att the same tyme a great Sadle & a horsemans staffe And further saith that the said horse and Sadle was brought vnto him by the Ladie Tirconnells Cooke who tooke from this Examinant a small Nagg which was this Examinants owne And this Examinant alsoe saith that within one day after hee this Examinant sent the said horse back againe vnto the said Mr Russell pretended alleadgeing that hee this Examinant was soe sickly as hee was vtterlie vnable to serue And this Examinant further saith that a servant of the said Mr Netterfeilds horse rydes likewise in the sayd service one of the said Ladie Tirconnells horses [ ]rte Coache Horses namely { } a bould horse well knowne in to the Cantrey
