was directed vnto this Examinant for a peice, which for many yeares past lay on the Battlement of the Castle of Bullock; And the said partie not meeteing with this Examinant eyther on the waie or att his this Examinant house (This Examinant himselfe beeing gone that daie vnto Carrickmaine as aforesaid) The said Messenger deliuered his Message vnto his this Examinants wife, the effect whereof was, that hee was sent for that peice, & that Mr ffagan (vpon the token that hee appointed to bee att home with him the day following) required this Examinant, or his wife in his absence, to deliuer vnto the said Messenger, the Peice aforesaid, which this Examinants wife accordinglie did. And soe the said Peice was carried vnto Carrickmaine the same night, and there remained vntill about Candlemas, & then itt was sent home by the said Mr Welsh. And lastlie beeing demaunded whether hee knew or hath heard that any of the persons, who were latelie brought from Bullock or Dalkey Prisoners, made any attempt to take anie Vessell or Shipp in this harbour, or going out of the same, Or whether any of the said parties were in Rebellion, or gaue releife vnto any others that were in Rebellion, saith, that hee doth not know that any of the said parties were in Rebellion, or gaue anie reliefe vnto the said Rebells, or made any attempt vpon anie vessell, eyther remaineing in the said harbour, or going in, or out of the same.
