<y> The said Jeremy Smith saith that on tuesday last hee tooke boate at Lowsy=hill in a boate belonging to Leonard Graues of Dublin seaman with

<z> with Leonard Graues, Thomas Lowe, Jonathan Paly, an old man and a young woman (whose names ( the examjnant knoweth not) foure three boate men and the examjnant went then to the shipp called the Nicholas comanded by Capten Bray & to the shipp called the Swan now rideing in the Bay of Dublin, and the said Graues and the other persons and the examjnant went aboard the said shipps with intencion to <a> trucke for [ ] a parcell of tobaccoe which they heard was to bee sould in the said shipps Hee saith hee knoweth of noe provuisions carryed to that or any other of the shipps now in the bay of Dublin only Hee saith that there were two sackes and a blankett mealled maled vpp and carryed in the said boate to the said shipps <b> but what they contained hee knoweth not Hee saith a that at the returne of this examjnant and the persons aforesaid from the said shipps hee saw a young man of about twenty yeares of age and a boy of about fowreteene yeares of age come from one of the said shipps in the said boate but what their names are, or whether they were of the Company of one of the said shipps or not the examinant <c> knoweth not, Hee saith hee had noe licence to goe to any of the said shipps, nor doth hee knowe of any lettres or messages sent to or from any of the said shipps, nor doth hee knowe what occasion of busines the said yong man or boy had to come from the said shipps or to whom they were sent
