The Examinacion of Edmond Roshanan aged 23 yeares or therabouts taken the day & year aboue written
<C> The said examinant sworne & examined saith, that about 3 weeks since he heard that ther was a lay man an Englishman in Brittas, who he did not see in the towne but when he was brought out of the said towne of Brittas by James o Mayra & others & carried to a place a myle from Brittas wher he was murthered, by the one Henry Archer & others soldiers then present, being asked who was then present, he saith he this examinant William Hanringhan John Magher William ffogertyne James Mayra, & Thomas Grace the Ensigne, being asked by whose order he was executed he saith he knoweth not of any particular order, but that they but he beleiveth that without the said Ensignes order it would not haue been done, for they looked vpon him as their officer, & obeyd his comaunds &c.
