<I> The examinacion of Allexander Hay taken before me the 14o Janvary 1641 beinge Carpenter to Sir John Bourke
<K> Whoe deposeth & saieth that he did heare the Lady Bourke say that the Irish was of a Longe tyme Slaues to the English & nowe itt is tyme for the Irish to take Revenge against the English & ffurther saieth that Sir John Bourkes Tennants had taken 48 beeues in one night & 30 another night, be sides a great Company of sheepe & other Cattle taken from the English att seuerall tymes & further saieth not &c.
