Charles Cosbye late of Ballylevan in the kinges Countie yoman sworne and examined deposeth and saith that since the late Rebellion began vizt in October last he this deponent by reason of the said Rebellion, and by the Rebells hath been stripped deprived and robbed of the seuerall goods & chattells worth seven hundred thirty nyn e pounds followinge vizt of Cowes horses and sheepe worth at the leas t with the proffitt of his ffarme being leased to him for many yeares yet to come The so mme of v C li. as he was profered for itt And also the Arreares of Rent out of the said ffarme and debts due to him from seuerall persons who are either in open Rebellion or otherwise robbed and stripped and ther e by d isinabled to give this depo n ent any saty s faccion at all, amountinge to the som m e of a hundred threescore and fourteene pounds sixteene shillinges, and in readye m one y of xij li. & vpwards from Stradbally in the Queenes Countie And further saith that he lost in horses Cowes and sheepe from the said Stradbally worth l li. and in howshould stuffe and apparell to the value of iij li.
