<Exr 167> Amy Manfinn of Monasterevin in the Barrony of Clanmalerye within the Queens County a Brittish protestant, duly sworne saith That since the begining of this present Rebellion vizt vpon the second and third daies of December in the yere 1641 she was robbed and spoiled of Cowes, swyne, ready money debts howsholdstuff, provision and other thinges, In all Amounting to the summ of xxiiij li. McWoney bretheren granchildren to Sir Terrence รด Dempsy whoe dwelt at Clanmaleroe in the said Countie, The said Lishagh sending his plowmen to kill this deponents husband which being done, they cawsed her to stand in her husbands blood <symbol> And alsoe cawsed her to stripp herself, And after they tooke her by the haire of her head, and dragged her throughe thornes, And then bade her gett her thence, The deponent asking whither, they answered to your daughter, whoe then dwelt at Geshell.
