<74> Georg Evans late of Newtone in the parish of Rosconeroe in the Barronie of Ballibrick & within in the Kings Countie yeoman a brittish protestant duly sworne & examined before vs by vertue of &c. deposeth & saith deposeth that about the first of december last past hee lost was robbed & forceably dispoyled of his goods & Chattles to the seuerall values following vizt. value of 148 li. 8 s.Of Cowes ho r ses sheep & swine to the value of [ f o] threescore & fifteene pounds Of houshould stuffe & provition to the value of thirty pounds Of apparell & a caddo e to the value of thirty shillings Of Corne & hay in house & haggard to the value of tweny four pounds. Of Corne lost in ground since lost by this rebellion to the value of twelue pounds Of Debt s to the summ of 3 li. 8 s . due fromWilliam Read Impou & John Tue, Impouerisht protestants This deponent further saith that on the way as hee trauelled betweene the Kings Com & Limericke he was robbed & his wife of the horse wheron they rode with his furniture & stripped of theire Cloathes (by Neale Mulloye of the Pallas in the Kings Com freehoulder) to the value of three four three pounds. The totall of his Losses amounts to the sume of one hundred forty four fiue eight pounds eight shillings And further he deposeth not. he also sayth that Christian Merret of Newton in the same Wife to Michaell Merrit was stript by in the high way with by the servants of William Carrall in the parish of Shinerone within the kyngs com, and farther I cannot depose,
