The examjnacion of Mary Barnewall of Shankill in the County of Dublin widdow aged forty yeares or thereabouts shee taken the first of ffebruary 1652 before vs by order of the high Court of Justice
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned saith That shee did know william Beaton [ ] a Protestant who former tyme liued neere Laughlinstowne on parte of the lands of James Goodman, Shee saith that shee heard that the said Beaton was hanged [ ] at Bray or Powrescourt but the tyme f when and place where shee remembreth not, shee allsoe heard that t he comonly reported that James Goodman of Laughlinstowne had a hand in the hanging of the said Beaton, And further saith not,
