The examjnacion of Andrew Gyraght of Barbistowne in the County of Dublin ffarmer aged forty yeares or thereabouts taken the second of ffebruary 1652 before vs, by order of the high Court of Justice
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith That in Ju or about July 1650 hee was at Barbistowne when and sawe when Tady Elllis and Patricke Keregan and Richard Strong and Robert Boylan and one Smith and other Tories passed thorough the said towne of Barbistowne after they came from the towne of the ffurrowes where (hee heard) the said Tories had killed a Capten Blundell, a son of Justice Donellans and others hee saith and that they had wounded Justice Donellan, hee saith that hee did know Tady Ellis and Patricke Keregan but did not know the rest his cause of knowledge is that they had formerly taken away his this examjnants garrans, Hee saith that hee did see the said goe from the ffurrowes to Swordes with the Corpes of those that were killed as aforesaid where they were buried And further cannott depose,
