The Examination of Henry o Donoghoe of Carloe husbandman aged 60 yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath the 9th of October 1652
The said Examinante being duely Examined saith whether he did not <A> on twesday night the 5th of October instant at his house at Carloe tell Captain Toogood, and Lieutenant Toogood that Coll Bagnall in the begining of the Rebellion hanged an Englishwoeman for the sauinge of whose life he the Examinante offerred two Cowes, he denieth the same, but saith what woords he spoake, he spoake of one Butler who hanged an Englishwoeman, and not of the said Colonell Bagnall and further saith not.
