<A> The Examination of William Brenan of Aghamuckie aged 26 yeares or thereabouts taken the 4th of September 1652
Being demaunded where he liued in the begining of the Rebellion saith that he liued at Garrindenn in the Queens Countie, and being demaunded vnder whose comaund he was he was in the begining of the Rebellion or whether he bore armes he sayth that he was vnder noe comaund nore bore armes, and being demaunded whether he was at the siege of Castlecomer he saith that he was not nor doth knowe who was at the said siege, and being further demaunded who murthered and plundered the English he say saith that he doth not knowe but that they were plundered by the Birns and Keuanag{hs} being demaunded who murthered Lewes Dauis, saith that he heard that he was murthered by James Brenan after the said James Brenan [ ] , now in restraint & further saith not.
