<symbol> The Examination of Ellin Swift of Kilkenny a widdow aged 45 yeares or thereabouts being duely exami taken vpon oath.
Saith that she liued at Cruitt in Idough in the <A> begining of the Rebellion and being demaunded who [ ] murthered the English in Idongh she saith the whole sect of the Brenans, amongst whom there was Thomas Butler of Castlecomer who then liued at Coolenelin and further saith that there were two Englishboyes murthered at Castlecomer by Lewes Brenan and she further saith that she heard that <symbol> Lewes Dauis was murthered by James mc William o Brenan & James mc Donnell o Brenan, and further saith that the <B> said Thomas Butler and Thomas Euers were two of the Cheefe actors in Idough in the begining of the rebellion at the plundereing of the English and further saith not
