The examjnacion of Dauid Enos of Roseberry in the County of Killdare Taylor aged forty yeares or thereabouts taken the xxjth of ffebr 1653.
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith, That hee hath heard that there was a boy murthered at Roseberry aforesaid about <A> the begining of the Rebellion, but by hee whom hee was tould of the said murther or when or where or where hee first heard thereof hee remembreth not, Hee saith that since the examjnant was summoned to repere to Dublin as a wittnesse to bee examjned on the behalfe of the Comon=wealth the examjnant and Richard Dunn of Maristowne neere Rathbride in the said County beeing in discourse concerning the murther of the said boy, the said Richard Dunn tould the examjnant that when the said boy was murthered William Harrold of Roseberry now prisoner in Dublin beeing in Rosberry when the said murther was comitted cryed and called vppon one William mc John Harrold a soldier vnder one Oliuer Dongan a Captain of the Rebells, and desired him not to kill
