The examjnacions of Richard Dunn of Maristowne in the neere Rathbride in the County of Killdare ffarmer aged ffifty yeares or thereabouts taken the xxjth of ffebr 1653
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith That about the begining of the Rebellion the examjnant was tould by Margarett Treuors and <A> Margarett Enos then Inhabts of Roseberry that about the begining of the Rebellion aforesaid there was a boy murthered in the said towne by William mc John Harrold a soldier vnder oliuer Dongan a Capten of the Rebells, but Hee saith where the said william mc John Harrold now is hee knoweth not, Hee saith that since hee was sommoned to repere to Dublin to bee examjned as a wittnesse on the behalfe of the Comon=wealth hee was in discourse with Dauid Enos concerning the said murther, but denieth that then or at any other tyme hee did tell the said Dauid Enos that William Harrold of Roseberry now prisoner in Dublin beeing in the said towne at the tyme of the said murther did cry and call vppon the said William mc John Harrold and desired him not to kill the said boy And further saith not,
