The examjnacion of Thomas Leeson of Naas in the County of Kildare aged thirty two yeares or thereabouts taken the xixth of ffebr 1652
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith That since the rebellion in Ireland hee goeing often with the English partie into the County of Wickloe did make inquisicon for those that hanged his brother John Leeson at Balligarny in the County of Wickloe and it was generally reported in the County that the said John Leeson was <A> hanged at Balligarny by Murrogh mc Edmond oge Byrne and Phillipp Rely both of the downe in the said County of Wickloe, Hee saith that the th examjnant beeing with a parte of the English Army in the said County the said Phillipp Rely was taken prisoner and by direccion of the officer in Cheife of the said Partie the said Rely was hanged at Powrescourt and a little before hee was hanged hee tould the examjnant that it was not hee that hanged
