The examjnacion of ffelix Cashell of the Citty of Dublin aged thirty two yeares or thereabouts taken the xixth of ffebr 1652 before vs by order of the high Court of Justice
Whoe beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith that about the begining of the rebellion in Ireland when Sir Chareles Coote with parte of the English ma Army marcht downe into the County of Wickloe, the examjnant and John Lisson concerning s were taken prisoners and brought prisoners to Balligarny in the County of Wickloe where Luke Toole and seuerall other Rebells then were hee and th a t they were putt into an vpper roome in the said house, that soone after the examjnant was sent for to bee examjned before the said Luke Toole and that dureing the tyme the the said Toole was taking the examjnacion, the said Lisson was carryed out of the said house and hanged as the examjnant was afterwards tould by seuerall of the Rebells then there, Hee saith that the M the said soldiers tould the examjnant that the

<B> said Lisson was hanged by some of his neighbors and the examjnant asking what neighbors they answeared by Murrogh mc Edmond Byrne and Phillip Realy both of the Downe in the said County of Wickloe, Hee saith that soone after the said Murrogh mc Edmond came into the roome of the said house of Balligarny where the examjnant was, and tould the examjnant in theise words by thy hand, theise hands of myne did helpe to hang thy Companion, meaneing (as the examjnant beleiues) the said John Lisson, for that hee was his Companion and ffellow prisoner, And further cannott depose
