The examjnacion of Richard Roertie now prisoner in Dublin aged twenty fiue yeares or thereabouts taken the xvijth of ffebr 1652 before vs by order of the high Court of Justice
<A> Who beeing examjned saith, That hee was not with the partie that killed the three English soldiers about a yeare of the last harvest a neere the bogg of Cloncurry or that sett vppon them, that hee had not any of the clothes, knappsacke or soldie sword that did belong to any of the said soldiers, Hee saith that Donnogh Connor Bradagh the boy a who as is alleadged was then in his Company, was neuer seruant to the examjnant but was did serue his brother James Roertie who was at the killing of the said soldiers that hee did see the said boy the next day after the said murder was comitted with a Ca soldiers Cassocke vppon him in company
