<symbol> The Examinacion of Anne Tute of Castleton Moylagh in the County of Meath taken at Dublin the 12th of ffebruary 1652
The said Anne Tute aged six and twenty yeeres or thereabouts being duely sworne and Examined saith That she is the daughter of Richard Geyner Late of Castle Moylagh aforesayd, deceased, That about fiue yeeres since her said father and her mother Rose, Edmund Tute the deponents husband, the deponent Cornelius and Richard Geyner, her brothers and Elianor Geyner now the wife of Philip Warren of Colliers Towne having servants and a stock of Cattle lived at Castle Moylagh aforesaid, vnder proteccion of the Parliaments forces of the Garrison at Trym. That vpon the second of ffebruary five yeeres past a party of foote about fourteen in number came armed to Castle Moylagh and Entred the Bawne and tooke away the Cattle there being in number about foure & twenty Cowes that afterwards some of them came back againe and killed the deponents father Richard Geyner within the Bawne neere the Castle doore gate and one of them obseruing that some from on the vpper
