Jeffry Power late of Cloghin & parish of Shandran & barony of Effa and Offa & within the County of Tipperary gentleman (a brittish protestant) duely sworn & examined by vertue of &c deposeth & saith. That deposeth that on or aboute the 20th of december last & since the beginning of this presente rebellion in Ireland he lost was robbed & forceably dispoyled of his goods & Chattles to the seuerall values followeing vizt worth 105 li. part consisting of debts owing vnto him byOf Cowes heffers yeerlings to the value of fortie pounds Of houshouldstu ffe to the value of fourteene po unds. Of hay & Corne in the haggard & house to the value of seaven & twenty pounds. The deponent saith that by meanes of this pre sente rebellion in Ireland he w a s dispossessed of his said farme of Clohin afore s aid wherin he had a lease of one & fortie yeeres (i f three liues liue soe long) woorth foure pounds per annum aboue the land lords rent wherin he conceaues himselfe damnififed twenty pounds. Of debts amounting to the sume of foure pounds six shillings due from the vndernamed persons vizt James Butler of Kilballyboy in the said County gentleman Hugh mc Cragh of Burges in the said County gentleman & although he accounted the same goode debts before this rebellion yeett in regard the said parties are out in actuall rebellion therefore this deponent canot gett satisfaction from them. The totall of his losses amounts to one hundred and fiue pounds twelue shillings & eight pence. The deponent he further saith that his said Cattle corne & hay were taken away by Sir Richard Euerard knight & baronett his houshould goods were likewise taken away by James Butler of Ballyboy in the said County of Tipperary gentleman. The deponent further canot depose.
