The ex of Dearmond Connor of Dengen taken the day & year afforesaid
The said Dearmond beeing duly sworne & Examind by vertue of his oath sayth that on St Patr: day the 17o of March before the Battle of Dongan Hyle he this Examinant with Gerrott Wisely Robert Taath both deceasd Walter Cusacke Robertt Cusacke brother to the said Walter with severall others was in the howse of Richard Gowne of the Dengan aforesaid drink ing & passing away the tyme all that day where they remaind remained

remaind vntell 12 or one a clocke at night midnight & beeing demanded the question whether Edward Wisly [ reasted ] was there that night & whether he this deponent saw the said Edward Wisly holding a coat or cloake in his hand offering to sell it & whether he heard that sa i d heard the said Wisly say that he gott it from an English man or any other whome the he the said Edward Wisly had killed he the examinant deposeth that he never saw any such Coat or cloake with the said Wisely offring to sell it or that he never heard the said Wisly vtter any such language & beeing further demanded whether the said Robert Cusacke brother to Walter Cusake [tarie d ] remained with the rest of the Company vntell they Parted he deposeth that the said Robert went away long afore the Company parted & went into the haggard to sl ee where he slept beeing in drin & lost his cloake & beeing as this Examinante Conceiveth in drinke & further this Examinant deposeth not.
