The examinacion of Edmond Terrell servant to Mr Alexander Jephson of Trym in the County of Meath taken before vs this 11th of February 1653
The said Edmond beeing duly sworne & examined, deposeth that he beeing a souilder vnder Captakn Isack Danyell at the Garrisson of Lackagh in the County of Kildare, about five or six yeares agoe did hear by a Common report that Elyn McGiluoy late who lived at Castlejordan in the said County of Meath, was taken away by s aied apprehended & taken away by the souilders of Tecroghan beeing then of the Irish party, & burnt to ashes at a stake at a place betweene Castle Jordan & Tecroghan, beeing charged with the murdering of a child of hir owne, she beeing therof privatly delivered, & that he further sayth that the said murder, was found out by a dogg who tooke it vp out of the place wherein it was burnt buried as he hath beene lately informed & further deposeth not.

The said Edmond is bound in twenty pownds to appear at Dublyn in the high court of Justice whensoever thervnto required
