John Looby late of Clochine in the parish of Carrigk i ppan & barony of Maskry & within the County of the Cittie of Corke yeoman (a brittish protestant) duely sworne & examined by vertue &c deposeth & saith. That on or aboute the 12th of ffebruary last he was robbed & forceably dispoiled of his goods & Chattles to the seuerall values following vizt value of 121 li. sterlingOf his Cattle at Clochine aforesaid to the value of three score & four e pounds. In houshouldgoods to the value of fortie shillings. Of [ ] Improuement building & ditching to the value of fifteene pounds. He further saith that he was expelled & driuen away from said farme & house where he left in corne in ground to the value of fortie pounds which he conceaues to be lost. The totall of his losses amounts to one hundred twenty & one pounds sterling He lastly deposeth that aboute the time aboue mencioned he was robbed of his said goods & that by the hands & meanes of Cormacke mc Carty of Mourne Abby in the said County of Corke gentleman & Teig รด Callaghane of Carrigmuckie in the said County gentleman & ther people & further he cannot depose.
