The examinacion of Edward Synnot of Roslare yeoman aged about forty foure yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Phillip Lamparte of Ballehyre in the County of wexford gent
<To the 1st inter> The Examinant deposeth and saith that he knew the said Phillip Lamparte theese many yeares past, & to the deponents personall <r> knowledge the said Phillip Liued at Bellehyre aforesaid the first yeare and during the whole rebellyon
<To the 2d interr> Hee cannot depose
<To the 3d interr> Hee saith that to his knowledge the said Phillip was to his power did contribute both money, & his endeauour <S> in raysing men for maintenance of the Irish forces against the english
<To the 4th interr> The examinant deposeth that the said Phillip was an actor in, and an abetter of the said rebellyon in the first yeare thereof: His cause of knowledge is for that the Deponent did see the said Phillip Lamparte in actuall Armes himselfe, & a party of Armed men vnder <T> his Comand against Duncannon forte in the first yeare of the rebellyon to keep in the english then guarrissoned therein vnder the Comand of the Lord Esmond
<To the 5th inter> The deponent saith that he hath seen the said Phillip at a meeting of the Irish at the Crosse of Killinicke and at another meeting of at Bourkstowne <u> the said first yeare of the rebellion in order to the forwarding the same against the english
<To the 7th interr> The deponent saith that he beleiues the said Phillip did take the oath of associacion being a generall thing
<w> To the rest of the Interrrogatoryes he cannot depose and further saith not
