The Examination of William Stafford Gentleman taken on behalfe of the Commonwealth concerninge Thomas ffitzharris of Kilkeuan Esquire
<to the first interro:> sath that the said Thomas did in the first yeare of the warr Liue in the Countye of Waxford and then in the Irish Quarters where euer since he hath Continued and now doth rema remaine and sath that the said Thomas mig might haue Remoued himeselfe and <y> famelye as some other English did, into the Engelish quarters but not without danger of the losse of his Estat as this deponant beleiueth

interro:> he cancannot depose any thinge materiall but likewise hath heard that the said Thomas ffitzharris had a company of men which he raised himeselfe before there was any <z> County Councell setled in the Countye of Waxford
<to the 7th interro:> sath that he is Confident that the said Thomas did take and subscribe the oath <a> of association it beinge a generall thinge imposed vppon all.
