The Examinacion of Nickolas Stafford Esquire taken on behalfe of the Comonwealth concerninge the aforesaid Thomas ffitzharris
<to the 1st interrro:> this deponent sath that the said Thomas did in the first yeare of the warr liue in and euer since liue in the Countye of Waxford where he now liueth which was <b> then the Irish quarters and sath that the said Thomas might haue remoued himselfe into the English quarters as some English did

<to the 10 interro:> this deponent sath that the said Thomas had a sonne Called Walter whoe was a Leift whether in the first or second yeare of the warr this deponent Knoeth not but sath Confidently that the said Walter was <d> Leiftenant in the forte of Duncanon when the said forte was surrenderd to Collonell Cooke and sath that the said Walter had had Co Thomas had a Corispondencye with the said Walter but this deponent Conceauth it was not after the Lord Crumwell Cominge into this Countye of Waxford but before
