The Examinacion of Richard Row of Bridgetowne gent aged twenty fiue yeares or thereab{ou}ts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning late Richard Browne of Ouldhall in the County of wexford gent
<To the 1st Inter> The examinant Deposeth & saith that the said John Richard dwelt at Ouldhall in the County aforesaid the whole time of the rebellyon, & did not thence remooue into the <q> english quarters, as this deponents father Nicholas Row being a protestan{t} who dwelt within a quarter of a mile to the said Browne & other protestants did:

Inter> The deponent saith that the said Richard did contribute himselfe in Armes, for the Irish against the english & did act & abet in the said Rebellion in the first or seacond yeare thereof, by being in Armes, in the castle of Ballihacke in the said County of wexford then guarrissoned by the Irish against the english, His cause of knowledge is for that the deponent was informed <r> hereof by the foresaid Richard Browne, but whether the same was in the first or seacond yeare of the said rebellyon he knoweth not & further cannot depose other then that the said Browne told the deponent that two of troopers bellonging to the Lord Esmond were killed by one Currin a fellow souldyer to the said Browne in Ballihacke the said first yeare
