The Examinacion of John Jepsey taken on behalfe of the Commonwealth concerning Nickolas Sutton aforesaid
To the whole matter on the interrogatoryes this deponent sath that the said Sutton was a high Constable at the begininge of the rebellion and did Issue out seuerall warrants for the Irish against the English and that the said Nickolas had a brother th Called John Sutton whoe was a pyerate at Sea and dueringe the same <y> pyriacye the said Nickolas did hold Cor corespondencye with the said John, and that the said Nickolas fled into remote quarters of the Irish and did not except accept of protection vnder the Lord Crumwell as the the most of the inhabetants of the Countye of Waxford did
