The Examinacion of John Silvester of Ross aged about 28 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and Comon Wealth of England sworne and examined deposeth as foll against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint proprieters of houses & smale parcells of Lands in & about Ross <Tho Motley, Tho Knowles, Jam Dormer, Marc ffitzharis, Mart Archer, Paul Duff, John Curtis, Tho Keneday, Will Barwick, Rich Duff, John Routh>
To the first Inter hee saith that the seuerall persons whose names are in the Margint inserted did <a> live in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence & did not remove into the English Quarter as other English & Protestants did
To the 2d hee cannot depose
To the 3d hee saith that the aforenamed persons did pay all publique Levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithen{ce}
To the 4 5 6 7 & 8 hee cannot depose
To the 9th hee saith Tho Motley, Thomas Knowles Paull Duff & Rich. Duff was at <b> seuerall yeares since the first yeare of the Rebellion Soueraignes of the Towne of Ross & wa{s} before the comeing over of the English Army vnder the comand of the now Lord Protecto{r}
