The Examinacion of Morris Neale of Ross aged about 60 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and Comon wealth of England duly sworn and examined deposeth as foll: against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint proprieters of houses and smale parcells of Lands in & about Ross <Jn Barwick, Tho Duff, Will: Bennett, James Motley, Dominick White, Edw. Cumberford, Will Pet: Nevell, Richard Delahide, Math ffitzharis>
1 Inter To the first Inter hee saith that the seuerall <i> persons whose names are in the Margint inserted did Liue in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion and sithence and did not remove into the English Quarters as other English and Protestants did
To the second hee cannot depose
To the 3d hee saith that the aforenamed persons did <k> pay all publique Levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence as others of the Towne did it being imposed vppon all
To the fourth fift sixt seaven & eight hee cannot depose
To the 9th he saith that Dominick White Richard Delahyde & Mathew ffitzharris were Soueraignes of the Towne of Ross since the first yeare of the <l> Rebellion and Tho Duff & Will Bennett Baylifes of the said Towne & was before the comeing over of the English Army vnder the Comand of the now Lord Protector
To the 10th 11th 12th & 13th hee cannot depose.
