The examinacion of Tirlagh Murphy of Clan{ } Clansarragh yeoman, aged thirty fiue yeares or thereabouts, taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Richard Keating of ffetherd in the barrony of Shelbyrne, & County of wexford Burges:
<To the 1st Inter> The examinant saith that he knoweth the said Richard, & that he dwelt sometimes at waterford, other times at ffetherd in the Irish quarters the first yeare & the Residue of <p> the rebellyon, from whence he remooued nott into the english quarters, as the english of the said barrony did.
<To the 2d Inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th> The Deponent saith that the said Richard did contribute his person in Armes, for the Irish against the english, & did act and abet the said Rebellyon & the Robberyes, by being a pyrate & goeing to sea, spoyling & plundering the english, The deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said Richard at his goeing out to sea in a vessell, which he had fitted vp in Nature of a ship of warre, & at his Returne home to passadge, whither <q> he brought seauerall englishmens goods, that he had plundered at sea, In which action the deponent saith the said Richard Continued seauerall yeares of the rebellyon & vntill the Lord generall Cromwell his accesse to the said County of wexford with his Armie & further saith not &c
