The Examination of John Byroach of Aclare aged about 54 yeares taken in the behalfe of the Lord Protector and the Comon Wealth of England duly sworne and examined deposeth as foll: against the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint <Nicho ffitzharis, Bryan Kavenagh, Edw Skurlock, Dowlin mc Murro Kavenagh, James Roach, Owen Mc Morris, Jam: Routh, Edm: Hyer, Will ô Doran, Ambr: Nevill>
To the 1 and 2nd Inter hee saith that the seuerall persons whose names are inserted in the Margint did liue in the first yeare of the Rebellion <i> and sithence in the Irish Quarters and did not remove into the English Quarters as other English and Protestants did as they might haue done
To the 3d hee saith that the aboue named persons did pay all publique Levies imposed vppon them during the first yeare of the Rebellion & sithence as <k> others did being imposed vppon all as hee beleeveth
To the 4th 5 6 7 8th 9 hee cannot depose
To the 10o hee saith that William ô Doran had a Brother by name W Edmond ô Doran who went forth into the Rebellion about the yeare 1649 & so continued vntell the Laying downe of Armes by <f> Coll: Kavenagh And did actt in the capacity of a Lnt the cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee did see him after the Laying downe of Armes
To the 11: 12: & 13 hee cannot depose
