The Examinacion of Arthur Cheeuers of Ballimader gent aged about thirty six yeeres taken vpon oath Concerning Laurence Cullyn of Blackhall gent deceased
<To the 1st Inter> The examinant Deposeth that the said Laurence dwelt at Blackehall in the County of Wexford in the Irish quarters <g> the yeere 1641: & afterwardes till he dyed and did not thence remooue into the english quarters as his english & protestant neighbours did
<To the 2d inter> Hee cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th interr> The deponent saith that the said J Laurence Cullin was in actuall Armes in the first yeare of the rebellyon & before the 10th of Nouember 1642: & that the said Laurence was with & of the Company of James Downes (to whom the said Laurence was allyed) plundering at the castle of Nicholas Loftus esquire at <h> ffetherd and other protestants As this deponent hath been credibly informed by some of the said Laurence neighbours but the certaine person that informed him the deponent doth not remember where the said Laurence was in Armes as by relacion the deponent was informed as aforesaid as a souldyer vnder the said James Downes and further Cannot depose
