<To the 10th Inter> Concerning the said Michaell Connor the deponent saith That the said Michaell had two sons Thomas & Morish Connor which said Thomas since the Lord generall Cromwells accesse to the County of Wexford hee tooke vp Armes & became a souldyer for the Irish against the english in the Regiment of Collonell Cavanagh And soe Continued till the said Collonelles submision & laying downe of Armes & then the said Thomas went to Spaine in the Capacity of Leuitenant in the foresaid Collonell Cauanaghs Regiment The deponents Cause of knowledge is for that the said Thomas doeing before the Line was Contracted did vsually quarter with this deponent togeather with the souldyers vnder his the said Thomas his Comand he being at that time a Leiutenant & that after the said submission <c> the deponent did see the said Thomas with others of the foresaid Regiment that told the deponent they were bound for Spaine As touching Morish Connor the younger sonne to the said Michaell the deponent knoweth nothing Concerning him onely that he is in theese partes dwelling with his vncle

The Examinacion of Shane oge Murcho of ffernes gent aged about sixty three yeares taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Michaell Connor of Colroe in the barrony of Ballaghkeen in the County of Wexford gent deceased vpon the Interrogatoryes annexed to the Comission of enquiry
<To the 1st Interr> The Deponent saith that the said Micahell dwelt at Colroe aforesaid distant about foure miles from the examinants habitacion the first yeare of the rebellyon & alwayes after till he dyed and did not thence remooue into <g> the english quarters as Sir Walsingham Cooke knight & other english & protestants Residing thereabouts did the deponents cause of knowledge appeares in that deponent dwelt nigh to the said Michaells habitacion as aforesaid.
<To the 2d Interr> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th Inter> The deponent saith that the said Michaell Connor did actually Contribute in the first yeare of the rebellyon to the then <h> publicque chardges as euery person in the said Barrony and County did to the promoting of the Rebellyon against the english
<To the 5th interr> The deponent saith that he did see the said Michaell at the publicque meetings of the Irish assembled at & neere <i> Ballaghkeen & elsewhere as well the first yeare of the Rebellyon as sithence in order to Carry on the said Rebellyon against the english.
<To the 6th 7th & 8th> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 9th interr> The deponent saith that the said Michaell was at or soone after the first yeare of the rebellyon did beare & execute the offices of Constable and Collector in the middle quarter <k> of the said Barrony of Ballaghkeen for the Irish against the english The deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see warrants subscribed by the said Michaell directed to subcollectors for leuying the said Irish cesse & Contribucio{ns} & for that the deponents land did meare with the land or quarter wherein the said Michaell was Constable and Collector as aforesaid.
