The Examination of Henry Roach in the behalfe of the Comonwealth against James Duff late of Ross deceased
This deponent saith that the aforesaid James Duff did live in the Towne of Ross in the first yeare of the Rebellion and there was a notorious plunderer of the English and Protestants and did Act in Armes in the Irish <f> Rebellion in the capacity of a Captaine during the first yeare, the cause of this Deponents knowledge is that hee often saw the aforesaid Duff in Armes and bring plunder to the said Towne of Ross where it was devided betweene himselfe & others and further saith not
