Donnogh Keinsly late of Balliclery husbandman aged about sixtie yeares Deposeth Concerning the said Cahire mc Phelim Cauanagh of Knockbrandan That the said Cahire with a great Number of men in armes in his companie about or soone after Hallantide 1641: vpon <n> a saturday in the forenoone came to the landes of Tomduffe & from thence did take and driue away a great Number of cowes & other cattle of the proper goodes of Sir Walsingham Cooke knight which cattle the said Cahire & his Confederates hauing driuen out of the feild, this deponent & other people of Sir Walsingham Cookes went in the high way doeing their endeauours to turne backe the said cattle, but the said Cahire & the rest with him by force droue away the said Cattle being in Number about nine score or two hundred heads and further saith not
