William Penrust of Eniscorthy yeoman aged fifty year{es} or thereabouts taken vp being duely sworne & examined Concerning the within said Collough mc William of Clorog{e} gent deceased deposeth and saith
That this deponent knew the said Collough and his foure sons, Namely Gerrald, Charles, Dominicke & Owen and that the said Gerrald, son and heire to the foresaid Collough mc William did in the moneth of December in the yeare 1641: with seauerall others in his Company in Armes, plunder and robb this deponent, one Mrs Alcocke & other protestants that were Comeing from the town of Rosse to Eniscorthy aforesaid of seauerall parcells of plate Rings and such like that the said Mrs Alcocke the deponent and the rest with him were bringing from Rosse <p> to Eniscorthy aforesaid for securing thereof, Hee this deponent and the said Mrs Alcocke being at that time Protestants and the said Gerrald being in Armes and distant foure miles or thereabouts from his said fathers habitacion And that the said Gerrald after his actings aforesaid had releife from and Correspondency with his said father Collough mc William & enjoyed his fathers estate since his fathers decease to this deponents personall knowledge and further saith not
